Based on the art of Origami, the story of energy efficiency unfolds (punintended) in a sea of color and movement. The spots, which were entirely 3D animated, saw several of the props and houses in the CG set created first as actual paper models. From here we took modeling, texture, and lighting cues to create the unique look and feel.
