I'm particularly happy with the Japanese-ness of this spot: a quality that was elusive through much of the production. It was great to work with Japanese letterforms, mechanized figures, that whole bubblegum pop aesthetic, dance club energy, and massive layering, while keeping the global Coca-cola identity in there at the same time. As in the other global Coca-cola work we did, this was a hugely collaborative project with a remarkable amount of creative freedom. Watch the spot again, but look only at the backgrounds: many many many things to see.
