MARV began his career making animated motion pictures in Los Angeles with his short "Bambi Meets Godzilla" (1969). In 1972 he moved to Vancouver and soon founded International Rocketship, where he produces and directs short films, commercials, broadcast design and films (Gary Larson's "Tales From The Far Side" won the Grand Prix at Annecy in 1996). In 2006 the Pacific Cinematheque in Vancouver screened a retrospective to celebrate Marv's distinguished career. He's been on the Global Mechanic roster since 2000.
